Welcome to the 2013-2014 NBA Midseason Report, I will be listing my picks for each of the major awards given out by the NBA. Before I begin, let us take a second to reflect on some of the major storylines of the season:

This year was supposed to be highlighted by the return of injured super stars, revitalized New York basketball, and of course, Lebron James and the Miami Heat going for the illustrious third consecutive title. As promised, three of the game’s biggest stars returning from injuries; Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, and Russell Westbrook made there comebacks. Though each would show flashes of their previous dominance, they all would suffer yet another serious injury causing each player to miss significant time.  Both New York basketball teams have struggled out of the gate with Brooklyn looking better recently, while the Knicks are undergoing a soap opera and will struggle to make the playoffs. The Heat winning a third championship seemed inevitable heading into the season until Dwayne Wade’s injury issues became a recurring problem and the rise of a new superpower in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers.

Things are rarely what you expect them to be in the crazy world of the NBA.

Now lets get to it!
